About Us

Formed in 1987 by brothers Richard and Douglas Post, R&D Enterprises is a building and remodeling company located in Ypsilanti, Michigan. We offer all phases of interior and exterior remodeling and alterations, specializing in decks, garages, fencing and additions. Still brother-owned and operated, we’re woodworkers with both skill and heart, ready for any size project, any time.

We learned many of our skills while working for a renowned master craftsman and pipe organ builder, venturing out on our own after several years of service. We quickly outgrew apartment maintenance and small remodeling projects and so decided to form an honest-to-goodness business, obtain our builders licenses, and target larger projects.

Our goal with R&D Enterprises is simple: to provide quality service to our customers. We’ve always been proud of our ability to complete projects on time and within the contracted price, though we gain our greatest satisfaction by providing the highest quality of workmanship possible.

We also pride ourselves on being very easy to work with and accommodating to the homeowners needs. We feel it’s crucial to work with the your input, at every step in the process.

Cleanliness and keeping any disruption to a minimum is another important part of any size project we manage. We owe it to you, our client, to clean up on a regular basis, maintain security at all times, never allow smoking in the house and maintaining a dignified and professional manner at all times.
